I have the TR340 package. I really love it.. The tune however is really conservative... I do like the quality of the parts... I think the tune is way to conservative but I understand why they did it that way. It is a good Daily driver tune. The Cams are nice and the idle isn't rough.. Love the exhaust note and DP is top notch.. Everything fits really well.

 

I am really close to buying a WORKS TBE, and was wondering why you never hear much about WORKS. Kinda funny i came across this thread.

I just wish i had a decent video or sound clip of the exhaust. If any one can post a video of the exhaust it would be MUCH appreciated!!

 

I have the complete WORKS exhaust, along with their enlarged, casted 02 Housing on my Evo IX-MR for about 2 years now. The fitment is amazing and the sound is very cool. I have NEVER been pulled-over by the police for ANY exhaust issue! Ever! After 2 years in the snow and salt out here in the East Coast, my exhaust looks great!

I think the reason there are not alot of us with this exhaust is: 1) the price-it can be a bit pricey compared to others and 2) It's not JDM. But having known what I know now, I'd still buy this exhaust in a heart beat! Customer service is GREAT, the exhaust looks beautiful and it PERFORMS without the cost of a loud exhaust ticket!

Also, if you have a JDM rear bumper, they have a service where they can give you a 'JDM Bumper Cut'...And they will re-weld your tip after the cut in a stainless steel weld that looks great! (Of course all the other welds at all the joints are in stainless steel also...VERY classy!)

If anyone needs a new donut gasket for the WORKS 3" downpipe I sourced some. I'm talking about the 3" donut gasket that fits around the adapter that mounts onto the 2.5" O2 housing. WORKS doesn't sell them by themselves, instead they charge $120 to get the entire kit (gasket, adapter, bolts, etc). Pretty sucky!
