and it happened, lost key with remote, stuck with just steel one, cant start the car, i have heard that using tactix cable u can actually disable immobilizer, is that true???? any other ideas???

 

Push start it? Or does that require the actual key too?

 

There is a chip in the key, it has to match the ecu for the car to start (this is what the manual says)
The dealer should be able to get you a replacement ($$$)

Some tuners (englishracing) can remove the immobliser. I'm sure others can too.

"Have a P0300 or immboliser code problem? We can fix these remotely as well. Need an immobiliser taken off an ECU before you sell it? Send it in and we can bench flash it and have it all ready to go."

 

Without a key in the ignition, the immobilizer disables the fuel system. Pop starting it wouldn't work.

To the OP, I don't know what to do to be honest. Ask the morons who stole mine and everyone else's Evo in the Chicago area.

 

I'm in need of just the key fob. Mine got crushed and all I have is the key. The dealership is probably gonna be expensive to have mine done.

 

well the dealer can get you the key, but you need to get the car towed to the dealership to get it programed all for a small fortune.

 

i didnt know they made steal ones??? you mean like a cut key without the programed chip in it??
