Rear Wiper Removal...?

I don't ever use the rear window wiper in my car. Can it be removed? Is it easy to do or a pain? Can someone who has done this let me know what is involved. I know I will have to plug the hole in the rear window.

Cool

Removing the rear wiper is easy. The $$$ part is having a body shop fill in the hole to look like stock. You could just put in a rubber plug to. I had this done to my DSM years ago.

ive never seen a body shop fill in glass, imo it taking away from the rally heritage of the car, but to each his own and if you wanted to do it right you could go to a glass shop and get a custom piece of glass, but i would imagine this running quite a bit. you could just put a rubber plug in the hole but this looks tacky

It's a JDM part. It's a black, rubber plug and used on some models in Japan...I'd contact www.Mitsubishiparts.com/ or go someplace that has grommets...Good luck!

Rally cars (evo specifically) do not have rear wipers. The evo RS I own and I'm sure every RS in the world does not have a rear wiper either, so there's nothing rally about the rear wiper. Personally I like the rear wiper for vision and safety pourposes, so I bought a rear glass with the hole and all the wiper assembly parts.
OP, just plug the hole like everybody says, and PM me if you want the reservoir with one pump only ( RS reservoir)
