Question about Muse Piping.

Okay, so i plan going with the Muse Upper (Short Route) and Lower Piping, the question is, has any body went with that set-up and used it with the stock intercooler? If so, how's the fitment on it? And notice a big difference in spool/power?
Also, if any of you guys have the piping with the Niesi intercooler, how's the fitment for that?

Thanks.

They'll fit just fine.

LICP will help a touch with spool and power, UICP not so much.

I have a Muse LICP on my IX. The fitment was great with my otherwise stock setup. I can feel the turbo spool up alittle bit quicker now.

I personally like the Nisei, they make one of the shortest routing LICPs and it comes with a bracket too. The Nisei comp intercooler is probably the biggest core one you could get and fit under stock crash beam gl.

I have the Nisei LICP and love it.

Isn't the Buschur Race intercooler the biggest to fit under the stock crash beam?

+1 Installed mine just an hour ago...and am very happy with the fitment...so for the price and it being a short route you can't beat it...

Muse is 2.5 all the way through. The biggest FMIC that fits with the crash beam is the ETS 4 inch I believe

i was running both the upper and lower piping. the upper used to be a cheaper aluminum based piping, now its a stainless steel pipe. The only downside to this is its heavier, but you dont have to worry about crushing the ends with tbolts. Its got a new design so you can recirculate stock bov as well with stock recirc tube, no extension junk anymore.

The lower pipe is stainless steel also, and seems to fit perfect. I used this setup on my perrin fmic and put down 551/486 with correction in 97f on a properly reading mustang dyno. the pipes seem to flow and do what they are meant to do, and they do not create boost leaks even at 40psi of pressure.
