NEW!!! Evo X Muse 02 dump
Evo X owners rejoice, Muse and VRSF are finally releasing an 02 dump for the Evo X. Muse has been making quality parts for the Evo 8/9 for quite sometime, their best part being the 02 dump. Well the time has finally come for Muse to make an 02 dump for the Evo X. VRSF sent me a prototype 02 dump for me to test fit and I was blown away when I received the part in the mail. The 02 dump was a beautiful piece of art. It was strong and sturdy. The welds on the flanges were perfect. I couldn't wait to install it.
The install was straight forward and simple. The stock 02 housing and downpipe came out, and the Muse 02 dump slid right in without a single issue. All of the holes on both the turbine housing flange and the test/cat pipe flange lines up perfectly. None of the piping hit any part of the firewall or anything else down in that area of the engine bay. One of the really nice features about the Muse 02 dump is how it comes with 2 bungs. Other companies charge extra for a secondary bung, but its included here so those of us who run a wideband can connect no problem.
Now on to my favorite part about the Muse 02 dump, the SOUND!!! If you've never heard a Evo X with a 02 dump then do yourself a favor and order this as soon as it's available. At cruising speeds the sound is subtle and well mannered. But downshift and get into boost and things get really loud. It makes a deep, bellowing scream that is intoxicating to say the very least. It will always put a smile on your face
The other awesome part about the Muse 02 dump is the gains you will make after installing it. By dividing the exhaust gases and not recirculating them, you are creating less back pressure within the turbine housing. This will translate to quicker spool, more low end torque, and the ability to make a lot more power with less boost. Typical gains are 25-30whp.
Like the Muse 02 dump on my Evo IX, this is now my favorite mod on my Evo X. The quality is top notch, the fitment was perfect, and the price is just right. Do yourself a favor and get one of these when it's available. You'll thank me later
Thank you VRSF and Muse for once again making a killer part for the Evo!!!

Looks the same as MAP.
That single sided brace for the dump tube will crack. Move it further down (closer to the flax section), and make it double sided. I've had to fix 2 MAP O2 eliminators where that single support cracked, and then the dump tube broke off.
Also, weld a bolt into the hole that the factory O2 housing has a stud in. Makes install 100 times easier.
