Damn, a fix it ticket!!
Well as you guys know. I drive a lot.
This morning while passing my local state trooper under an overpass doing 65MPH, he decided to pull me over.
I'm like what the hell. He said the reason he pulled me over was that he hear my car coming and going. The exhaust is way too loud, I was like really??
Anyway, funny thing was, he looked in my car saw my uniform on the seat and he asked where I worked. Next thing you know he's like I'll stop by the dealership to check out the Ferrari's and he hands me a Fix it ticket.
The thing that gets me is that while I was on the side of the road, 2 Subi's passed me loud as all hell and a couple of Harleys.
I guess I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and he had his window down.
Maybe one day I will have someone drive my car so I can hear how loud it really is.
What do you guys do when this happens, if ever to you??
Throw on a stock exhaust and drive it to the station??

not that I like to be a jerk about things.... but we as citizens need to step up and start a petition on loud exhaust!!!
Its gay first off,
every chopper or harley have the most redicoulous pipes on it much louder than some of our cars and they feel the need to rip it up wherever they are going.
Technically, a rusted hole in an exhuast system is up for a ticket, what a joke
It is nothing more than the wrong place at the wrong time however when you ask cops if they pull over every harley with a loud exhuast they don't have an answer.
Its just crazy to me that they pull this crap. if your gonna pull someone over for a loud exhaust, you might as well pull over everyone with a loud exhaust! Sport bikes, harley's, every car that sounds like it has a hole in the muffler...

Either find a cop that doesn't care to sign off on it. Or get a silencer if your muffler fits one. Much faster then swapping exhausts.
I've gotten 3 same tickets, my car has the o2 dump though.

ive gotten away twice with out doing anything
there was cop at this place i was eating for lunch and on his way out i asked him if he could sign it off. he said did u but ur stock exhaust back on and i said yup lol. he could only see the front of my car and he just signed it hahahaha. pretty much same thing on the second time around lol.

Its not really the fact that they care if your white/black, driving a civic/semi truck/ stock/modded, they want the revenue. They dont have "quotas" its the fact that the more tickets they write the more money the state has. Its just another quick money maker that they know many people cant really argue their way out of, because its completely based on opinion.
