I had the Works short shifter put on my car MR. It's awesome now! The only thing is that when you do it, 6th gear won't be naturally easy to get into so you'll have to adjust at first. But I guarantee you'll love the feel of it after the mod. Get er done!!!

Any updates? Too bad there aren't more companies attempting this. I'm guessing the best real solution would be an entirely redesigned shifter assembly, but that would not be cost-effective. I guess I'll learn to live with the long throws, but I get jealous every time I drive my friend's STi

 

Any further update on this? Anybody with a Works MR short shift willing to chime in and tell me whether the short shift is worth it and how it is holding up? Just wondering for when I get my Evo! Which looking for a Wicked White Evo IX, it is almost impossible to find a GSR, thanks for your time guys!
