Paid off with a good driving record, full coverage shouldn't be much...I have no idea why you wouldn't have it considering how easy it is to destroy body panels on these cars...

^ My driving record isn't the greatest. Although I do agree that I should have full coverage. Especially after that incident!

Hey TEV, sorry to hear about your car man. I'm friends with Derek, he told me what happened. I'm also from modesto and I also know Rob. I was hoping I could see your car soon but now it might be a while. I hope you get it up and running soon. Jessie also worked on your car and he is awesome on evos. He is working on mine right now lol.

Yeah, I hope to have it back on the road hopefully before Christmas. You might have seen me at In N Out a couple weeks back. I was with Rob that night shooting his Subie. Yeah Jesse is pretty good, he found the ripped O ring 5 minutes after listening to the engine.

Well fathouse has one with 22K and they prob exist that we dont know of off the top of our heads. Also new bumper covers are not that expensive, motors and funerals are.

good to hear you re aliveman . same thing that happened to me but my car stopped in the middle of busy traffic i looked in my rearview and there comes an 18 wheeler full speed . i was going to jump out the car into the median but figured i wouldnt make it on time so i just buckled up and took the hit from the 18 wheeler. luckily he kinda swerved to the right and the only thing hitting me was the tires... but man it was crazy scary .

Find it hard to believe you blaming the engine on the O-ring.

White IX RS with 222 miles, holes in front bumper. Checking in........

Could have had a luck of the draw engine. Its rare but even stock EVO motors have been seen to break a rod in half, and or snap a rod bolt. These motors are tough. Statistically the failure rate is low considering how many are abused beyond belief.

Seen way to many EVOs driving around with O-rings broken and or missing and it just doesn't correlate with a broken rod.

Ok, so tell me why the car ran perfect up to 18k on pump gas then when it recieves a few mods(cam's,headstud's,injector,s and a couple other supporting mod,s) +E85 then see's problems after a couple hundred mile's? The car blew with only around 700 mile's on it after these upgrade's. I do reallize that it did gain 100whp more, but i just don't think it would turn into a grenade. It'sstill under 19k....
