Hey guys my 03 Evo 8 gets really bad static after 28 volume level, I changed out the pioneer speakers for stock ones and put a different antenna on as well and still does it, I'm not that big of a radio guy but I still would like for it to work, maybe it's a bad ground cuz the the guy who had it before messed with all the radio parts, let me know what you think guys!!!

 

ur probably getting distorsion becuz ur stock radio doesnt have a good EQ mite want to buy a better radio with high vottage outputs and with a nice EQ in it.. i usally buy pioneer radios nice there farilly cheap and have great egs and there easy to work with

 

^^^^ what he said....your stocker only puts out like 15 watts per channel.....upgrade the head unit and your sound quality should get better!
