I was pretty surprised when I read this cause I always figured warranties dont cover "wear items". So is that written under contract or does it depend on the dealership? (I plan on buying from hunington beach mitsubishi in socal because I heard alot of great things about them).

 

I got mine from www.1sourceautowarranty.com. I got bumper to bumper for 7 years 100,000 miles. It came with a $0 deductible.
I also got wheel, tire, windsheild and dent removal for another $50. I asked them about modifications too. They said that they wouldn't warranty the the modded parts, but would do anything stock. I paid like $1300 for all this.

 

If your not going to do any modifications/abuse the car (abuse by going to the track, launching, etc.) I would say go for it,

I got the highest warranty upgrade package available (cant even remember what it was) and I'm glad I did, wasn't denied warranty on anything I went in for.
