BOV Help

Hey guys so i was looking into purchasing a BOV for my evo. i was aiming towards an atmospheric dumped one. i really like the TUrboXS RFL but i wanted the opinions of the people on here. i personally love the SSQV but it is played out in my mind and is like $300. which i dont want to put out for a BOV. i like the RFL but i was wondering what it is that i need to install it. if i bought this (http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co..._h_rfl_bov.htm) would that be all i need? or would i need??? and if not what are your guys thoughts what BOV's do you like?

Personally I wouldnt buy that bov, for one its f-ing annoying after a while/loud. I have a synapse and have no problems with it and it sounds good and mine is recirculating. Here is a link to but one from a vendor. Just my .02

Well I can safely say my ssqv was annoying and in my opinion junk. I dont know much about the turbo xs one, but it seems like youd need a coupler to go from your ICP to the BOV, but once again im not completely sure.

get the ix bov. unless your worried about the sound of the bov. how much boost are you planning on running? You can Get alittle more out of It by crushing It.

I you're not planning to go above 25psi I would just buy a JDM IX bov. They are about 150.
Also you don't want to vent to atmosphere, evo's react very badly to this.
Either recirculate it completely or find a twin vent bov, that way you can vent 50/50

please search

this topic has been beaten to death and then some

maf equipped cars do not react well to atmospherically dumped valves

there is an irregularity in the amount of air the maf receives
