I am still in warranty and thats why its such a hassale since its a warrantied item

how are you still in warranty? isn't it 3yr/36k miles for stuff like that? Or is that considered similar to a rust issue (which I think is 7yrs)?

When I had mine replaced, the replacement wing also came with just a primer coat. This was 4 years ago, and the replacement wing still looks brand new.

I was going to go into the dealer with my 03 and try to get a new wing, on the under 36k mile thing. Im at 32k now and figured they might go for it if it was a cool rep? I have a guy at my subaru dealership that hooks me up pretty good when i need parts for the wrx.
