evo 9 as a first car
First of all from your post, You know nothing about cars it sounds like. You right now are what I call a "Magazine Car Enthusiast" and know nothing about what you are getting into. Get a car that is reliable and actually gets good gas mileage. Save the money for an evo in high school and when you graduate buy a new one, or slightly used.
Like someone else said though, the EVO is already going to be too much car for you as a first car, so wanting to modify it before you even own it is stupid. you're just going to mess the car up because you don't know what you're doing, or you're going to wreck the car because you can't drive yet.
if you get one, take it to an autocross or a road course event and learn to drive it. I don't see a problem with getting it as long as you're not a moron with it.
do more research, and take it to the track and learn to drive it. good luck
I dont think Ive ever said this to anyone else but i would suggest buy a Vtec Honda civic and learn to DRIVE before you( parents) go and buy an Evo. You will prob think its just as fast for a while.
