Ok I've been serching like crazy for clutches since mine went out at the track. Ok so the ones I've been researching are the exedy stage 2 HD 4 puck/ act hdttp 6 puck sprung/ comp clutch stage 5/ fidanza 4.3. This will be going on my evo viii with 465hp and 450lbs ft tq. Mostly daily driving and every other weekend at the track. Anyone that has any insite please post. Thanks in advance

Any of those clutches will work just fine. There's a slight difference in the way you will have to drive them because of the style.

I have the ACT 6 puck, and couldn't be happier. I love the feel (like an old muscle car) and I love the grab. I was a good bit of disappointed to find out that they didn't have a higher rated puck clutch (re: above 726), but for the power I have it's plenty fine - and should be for you as well.

Do you have any lockout issues at high rpm my old act did and I was told the exedy would bbe the best choice as I will be stroking my cr and upgrading to the black and will be looking for 600hp and 550 tq and which act are you running

I have a quatermaster twin plate and it is outstanding! Its not as pricey as the other twin plates. If you are over 400 I would go with the twins so your not burning single plates.

Well I have hks twin disc but need rebuilt and parts are on backorder for a while and my budget right now is 400 to 700 for a clutch so twin disc is out of my rnge unless someone has a used twin disc for sell or unless someone wants to buy my hks clutch and if anyone has one of these clutches for sale let me know

I am running the 6 puck ACT.

I have had lock out at higher RPM's, but I havn't gotten it since I adjusted the clutch pedal alittle bit. I don't really drag my car though, so that isn't much of an issue.

+1 ^ I have an ACT clutch also had the lockout issue and a simple clutch adjustment cures the problem.

So out of these choices which would you guys recommend? I'm leaning towards the exedy.
