I would doubt CBRD would help out with the turbo on this case because of this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ite-smoke.html

this was not a faulty turbo, this was faulty driving.

brake boosting and powershifting is just part of driving if u ask me.

Gonna be hard for anyone online to confirm whats wrong with ur car... I do suggest you take better care of it going forward, and maybe stop all the street racing/brake boosting.

How far is Wakeman from Orrville? Cleveland is only like an hour right? So Wakeman is like maybe 2 hour drive for you? If so, hit up Buschur!

Your best bet if you want to try and get anything for your turbo is give CBRD a call and talk to them about the BBK. But do not lie to them about what happened as CBRD is on these forums. Another shop is not going to be able to give you a turbo as they are not cheap. There is a new BBK Full ported for sale on teh forums, for chepaer than a new one will run you. But you are still looking at like 1500 bucks. Your best bet is to take it to a shop and see what they say and then make your decision from there. (BBK Full brand new is like 1750 or soemthing) CBRD might also be able to rebuild the turbo depending on how damaged it is if the turbo is fried. CBRD's website and contact information is cbrdspeedfactory.com.

Other than that you will just have to wait for a diagnosis on what is exactly wrong.. If the car seriously ran out of oil and you drove it that way chances are you have more problems than just a bad turbo though.

cheety,

send me a PM or call, 717 751 2345 ext 101- (I will not answer so PLEASE leave your contact info and I WILL get back to you)

we can take a look at the turbo, more than likely it can be upgraded to a BBK-B with new bearing package. I would like to know if you ordered the turbo direct through us, or someone else. We are always willing to help out!

cheers

Best advice. Take care of the car and she will take care of you.
