BR 2.4 - Round 2
I read through a lot of brake info on here since I just upgrades everything in the brake area...You may be able to get away with using the HPS pads on the street only BUT I wouldn't use them for an autox or track event...I pretty sure I remember reading something about most tracks not allowing people to use HPS pads...they seem to glaze over easy and not be able to handle the weight of Evos...Besides using them on my little brothers type r powered teg I have no other personal experience with them...

This is a grocery get'r and weekend drag car. Ive never been on an autox course in my life.
I'd stick with HPS over HP+ for street stuff. Neither is up to track duty, but the HPS will be quieter and less dusty than the HP+. For autocross, I'd go with the HP+, though they don't really work optimally until you get some heat into them.
Check out Smike's sticky on brakes.
Wasn't trying to bring you or your car down. I would just say for the amount of power your making you should really consider using a better pad, regardless of where/how your driving the car. Those pads will glaze easily and they have very poor initial bite. Brakes get over looked way too often, big power means good brakes.
I have used them, and I wounldn't recommend them to anyone.

My biggest concern was noise, followed up dust. Last was performance. Stock pads worked fine for me. The brakes on our cars could stop a CTS-V when used for drag... let alone our cars.

11.6@126.37
Wind was bad, track was terrible, and i foul'd my plugs on the way there.
made 481/444 the day before on a mustang on 93.
93 mph avg through the 1/8th on all 4 runs..
60 foots were just terrible.. 1.78-1.85 with a best of 1.69
Good times tho -- i was the fastest/quickest street driven import there i believe..
