Worlds slowest FP black evo? HELP! *FIXED*
So I installed an fp black turbo on my car and went over to AMS for a flash tune on the mustang dyno and put down 372 awhp on the mustang dyno Have no idea what the tq was because i forgot to ask for the dyno sheet but picked it up last night and it was faster then my old stock turbo setup at 376 awhp on the dynojet so i went to GLD hoping for low 11's and I ran 12.713@113.57! 2.005 60 foot.
Heres my power mods on my new setup
Ported fp black with 25 psi wastegate
Fp race j pipe
fp 80mm intake forced onto the 84 mm inlet
stock manifold not ported
EPM o2 dump
ARP head studs
HKS 264/264
AMS FMIC, UICP, LICP, MBC, 3" TBE with cat delete
pte 880 injectors
walbro 255
Samco BOV
exedy HD sprung 4 puck with 12lb exedy flywheel
ran out of injector at 23 psi
on e85
Full boost at 5600 rpm and goes to about 7900. 2 step is set at 6150 and i build 2-5 psi of boost.
AMS did not recomend nor encourage me to run 880's on low boost nor did i want to but didnt have the funds*
Whats the cheapest route to making more power and how the hell do you drive a laggy *** turbo evo?

on an FP black your gonna need larger injectors than those, especially if your using e85. Every tuner I talked to for my setup on much smaller turbo has recommended at least 1050cc injectors for e85.

I knew i need bigger injectors, I was using 880's for the stocker on e85 and was hopin for 400 awhp with the boost turned down with the black and it has a 25 psi wastegate, atleast thats what gary@mellon tuning told me...
wow. Really need to get bigger injectors as stated. If you ran out of injector at 23psi, when these turbos are built for well over 25 psi. I think the normal is around 32psi or so. Id suggest 1600cc injectors or bigger and maybe a double pumper. Also those cams are going to kill you, Kelfords or Buschur racing or even AWDs new cams theyve got are going to help you out alot!
couldn't afford the injectors at the time but injectors will definately be my first next mod and retune, even still i will only get what low 400's on a mustang and it still wont run rite there is somehting definately wrong i just can't figure it out maybe like you say it is a 25 psi wastegate and i'm running 23 psi...is this a problem?
Just realize you were only using 880s on a single Walbys.. You need at least 1600 and a double pumper to get the full power out of you setup.. Bigger cams will definitely help as well, but stock cams are not the problem unless they were taken out and put back in properly with a tooth off or something..
