Anyone knows the function of each wire on the tranny connector from the main harness?

definately check with shep for this. where or what side of the tranny is this on?

 

I can check tomorrow. Two pins/wires are for the reverse switch. Three pins/wires are for the VSS.

 

May I ask what you are trying to figure out exactly?

Hi guys, sorry i havent updated this, but i found the answer already.

red - +12V to reversing (back-up) light switch
brown - switched wire to reversing light
black/white - +12V to speed sensor
black/yellow - speed signal
black - ground

What im trying to do is put an evo 8 engine and tranny into my lancer 1996 GSR.

I have both looms and just trying to tap the evo 8 engine loom into my harness. i ask about htese wires cause they dont go to the ecu but 3 other connectors which no one has a pinout for. Thanks for the help guys
