5w-20 motor oil

is it alright to use 5w20 full synthetic motor oil in evo's? I accidentally got 5w20 instead of 10w30. I was buying too much oil lol and I must have looked at the numbers real quick and thought it was what I needed. If its not alright, I'll get a new oil filter and new oil tomorrow and change it out.

No. The 20 weight has a lower viscosity than the 30 weight. I would drain and get the 30 weight. Its $50 v. $3500 for a motor. You pick.

Thanks for all the help. I already bought everything and I'm gonna change it when I get home from work. Hopefully letting the car idle for a few mins won't cause any damage. The car hasn't moved since I changed it.

I already changed the oil. The car literally moved 5 feet and idled for a minute with the wrong motor oil in it. Now it has fresh 10w30 and a new filter.
