Help worry !

I had my 03 Evo for a long time now and it's been tuned in 05. Running great ever since. Mildly tuned for that matter. Lately this is what's been happening. i step on it from first gear and my rpms go up right at 3,000 it stalls a bit 1/2sec then all of sudden boost kicks in. Keep in mind this feel excatly like turbo lag but i'm very mild tuned and never ever got this before. Is it my injections not spraying fuel in a timely manner ? i looked and i don't see any brokes hoses or leaks.
Mods:
basic three
and tune
boost contoller too forgot.

Thanks in advance.

More than likely you have a boost leak. When was the last time your plugs have been changed? MAF clean and in working order?

Good advice see if all your pipes are on etc. Boost leak test is a must!

How do i go about getting them tested ? In the previous post, are you suggesting just changing my spark plugs or more extensive with the actually injections. How do you clean your MAF ? Open it and just blow it out with a an air can perhaps ? Newbie to Turbo Cars. Any specific advise would suffice. thanks oh lastly, how do they check for boost leak ? Only a proffesinal would have the tools ?

I'd check your piping. And do a boost leak test. I had a pipe come off partly, and sometimes the drive was normal, and other times when I give it gas, power comes unexpectedly.
