Mesh for forward facing turbo?

Mesh for forward facing turbo?

Hey guys im finishing up my forward facing kit but just need to find mesh to put over my turbo that sticks out the front bumper. If anyone has any sites or actually has something let me know!!!

I just went to the hardware store bought a sheet of mesh and I made
My own. Works great and it looks good.

They sell that stuff at auto stores.. All it is is chicken wire..

I would try to find some fine stainless steel mesh, cut it fairly large, and just use a hose clamp to hold it in place. I've done this before and it was ok, though I'm not sure how I would feel if I lived in a dustier environment.

I just put a clamp around the compressor housing and that holds the
Mesh in place without any issues

Yeah this is exactly what i was thinking but i just need to find the mesh i went to lowes and hone depot but they had nothing

Thanks man im gonna Buy the mesh off that site exactly what im looking for unless anyone knows a stoee i could pick it up at tomorrow or monday?

This isnt my daily driver but people i know dont run any sort of screen at all and they have been fine, but im not about to take that chance on a almost $2000 turbo

Yeah, I was going to say--that's a risky move for your turbo and engine! I don't see the benefits outweighing the cost.

why not run a filter? i got a filter to fit on my ets ff manifold. a local guy ran his non ff manifold and has chipped turbo blades. I dont like to take the risk with a ff manifold
