Evo IX MR Shifter Adjustment

MY 06 IX mr has become difficult to get into Reverse after installing the underhood bushings. Is there any adjustment that can be made so that it isn't so hard to get the shifter to the far right and engage in Reverse. I currently have to slam the shifter to the right to get it in.

that diagram is awesome! do you have it for the five speed?

OP- you can also try to sand the pins and lube them with anti seize.

my friend just got some installed, as I do, when its cold out I have this problem
I just wiggle shifter, go to 3 &4 gear a couple times, sometimes followed by 1st gear, then it goes in.

I might have to try and lube it up
