shifting problem

shifting problem

Does anyone else have a problem with the car (evo 8) acting like you pushed the clutch before you left off the gas while shifting sometimes my car will rev like im still on the gas when i hit the clutch to shift. Really no big deal just annoying

What. I assume you mean your clutch is slipping, in which case it needs to be replaced.

thinks its time to replace your clutch.!

are you still on stock.? aftermarket? a little more details will help

Brand new clutch it's an aftermarket stage 2 act it's not like the clutch slips it's more less like I push the clutch while I'm still on the gas but I'm not

im thinking maybe its a bad tps sensor but then again its does not do it every time so idk

DTC P0121: Throttle Position Circuit Range/Performance Probl it put this code out today and ive gotten it once before but like a month ago maybe a problem what do yall think

i know what you're talking about, I have it too, I thought it was me though, slightly still on throttle when I tipped the clutch in, considering IM used to clutches engaging lower down in the arc/

was your blow up related to this issue?

You know I'm not really sure what caused it. I pulled my car outta the garage today and it stumbled on the idle a little and I was getting out while it was runing I reached my foot in there to give it a little gas a saw a puff of smoke from the exhaust it was smoking from the dip stick tube the head vent that goes to the catch can. Compression test reviled 185 psi on cylinder 1-3 but #4 blew 70 psi
