Well I noticed that one manifold to turbo bolt was missing, so I ordered a oem bolt and washer. Went to put in the bolt but it wouldn't thread period. I shined a light down the flange and realized the thread was stripped.

I never had this problem, my question is what can I do with the turbo still in the car? Thread chaser, rethread?

Happened to me a while back. I just used a smaller bolt with a nut. Im lazy

 

Id just buy a new hotside. I would not try to fix it with the turbo on the car regardless cause you take a chance of metal going somewhere it shouldnt

 

Yeah looks like I'm going the smaller bolt with a nut route. I was looking at just getting another hotside, but if I'm gonna pull the turbo might as well get a bigger turbo!
