Ground on Fuel pump

My ground wire recently became a little rusted, when i took off from a light it started cutting out under WOT and then backfired. Eventually the fuel pump stopped working all together when I discovered the issue. It's obvious I was going fuel lean, here are what my plugs looked like.

I'm a little worried I damaged the motor, any thoughts?

If you damaged the motor you would know it, you're fine. Running lean won't damage your motor unless you're driving it hard and in that case it should knock and pull timing so you would know something was going on and take it easy

I appriciate this, even for just a little piece of mind. the extreem backfire had me a littel spooked, but so far it drives fine with the new pump. I'll do some WOT pulls a little later

if your worried about it do a compression test and a leakdown test to see how your motor is. also a wideband gauge is your best friend lol i found that one out the hard way

Yea my wideband cut out a couple days and then this happened at the same time. Needless to say it's fixed now.

your plugs dont look bad at all honestly. the discoloration from what i have personally learned is from the additives in gas. i know mine look exactly like yours 99% of the time i pull them.
