SES light help!!!

SES light help!!!

I just seafoam my car and now I get the SES light. Anyway I can get rid of it beside unplug the battery for 10sec. thanks

Use an OBDII scanner. Your local auto parts store will read and clear your code(s) for you.

i used to like that stuff but its terrible for your car, probably a misfire code.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it was a general misfire like a p0300 or p1320 iirc, that happens a lot with seafoam

On the contrary it's very good for your car. It will cause misfires and such, just clear them and expect it to happen. Alot of people change their oil and spark plugs after doing a treatment too.

invest in a tactrix cable so you can pull codes whenever you want and clear them out. Saves having to deal with the cheerful folks at the autoparts store.
