Help from the gurus!

Had my engine replaced in July and never really noticed but my SES light wasnt lighting up when I start it up. So now I went for my emissions test and of course it failed coming up with 0421 lean 1st bank and SES not functioning. My question is how do I go about replacing the bulb? Is it simply taking the cluster apart and changing it out? Will this eliminate the code for the SES? Also are the anti-foulers the best option for the other code or should I just clear it everytime I need an emissions?
Thanks guys!

Changing the bulb is indeed as simple as taking the cluster appart and changing the bulb.

Will it erase the code and fix the problem? No.

A list of mods would help us pinpoint the reason behind the code.
Your thread is not getting much attention because of where it is on the board. If it would have been posted under troubleshooting, your question would have been answered already.

It's (I think) a total of 5 screws. Touching the plastic face of the cluster move your hand up. There are 2 screws. One on the left and the other on the right. Pull the black plastic piece out.

Now there are 3 screws left. One at the bottom behind the steering wheel shaft. Just look at the gauge cluster and look down. Make sure your steering wheel is moved all the way down. There are 2 left. One in the top rght and the other in the top left. Take those out. It's not out just yet. There are 2 ribbons you have to pull out as well. They have clips so be careful not to break them.

Once you get that out just find the light bulb over the ses light overlay. but from my experience you have to order that bulb online. Or you could just take the light from the open door symbol and move it down.

honestly, if it was replaced by the dealer (pending how long ago) take it back and tell them to make it right or its money out of your pocket later on,

^ what he said but for 0421 the de fouler trick is the best way just remember to run it for 100 miles to make sure the ecu completely resets.
