AEM SRI & Water

Anyone with an AEM SRI have problems with rain and water getting in?

I'm curious since the vent to the intake is still used & were getting into winter which = rain

You'll be fine...what makes you think it's any different than if the water went into the stock air box?

I assume a stock air box is better designed to prevent water to intrude than an open air element

I'm not trying to be rude, but the reason no one is answering is because every rain season there is a onslaught of this same question being asked over and over again. The answer is that the rain doesn't have enough force to go through the snorkel, saturate the filter element so much that it fill the intake with enough water to have a problem. Make sure you don't drive through deep water where the intake will be submerged and you will be fine.

Otherwise you will get the "search" comment.
