Before flaming, I spent 15 min searching with no pics or real good info and most restricotr pill searches brought up the clutch

I bought my car used and I wanted to see where the boost pill/S are suppose to be. I've felt around for it and cant find it but I might not be looking in the wrong spot.

I cant seem to pass 14psi and I dont know if this has anything to do with it?

Also there appears to be a cap missing next to where the boost line with the stripes is. What is this and does it need a cap?

Also the car has 54k and has a light coat of oil at the bottom of the turbo inlet, is this normal?

Where is/are boost Pill/S Suppose to be?

Missing cap next to boost line. What is this? is it important?

Light film of oil = Normal?

There is a "T" in the hose next to your wastegate. It's between the "T" and your wastegate. Or at least mine was and I know it came that way as I bought my car new. Hope this helps. I suggest looking for boost leaks first before removing that pill. Do your research on that first. The cap missing thing I really don't follow you on that. The oil in the turbo inlet is from the recirculation coming off your valve cover. Looking at the engine bay look at the right side of the valve cover towards the front and you will see a hose there that goes to your intake pipe. This is meant to vent positive pressure into the intake. Excess oil accumulation in the intake is normal and is usually alleviated by using a catch can. After looking closer at your pics it seems like your boost solenoid is hooked up properly. What are you using to gauge your boost pressure?

I believe the thing you are referring to needing to be capped is part of your clutch system. Its the hydrolic rod used to push the clutch fork. I dont think its supposed to be capped. I think it is used for bleeding your clutch lines.

Not sure about it's use but now that the guy above pointed the "uncapped" thing out I can tell you that is part of the hydraulic system to you clutch. Slave cylinder I believe and in no way part of your boost issue.

Take a look at the hoses coming off the wastgate and turbo outlet, look for cracks. you may just
be running wastgate pressure [ you could try getting a manual boost controlle. Check for other boost leaks including your BOV. Get a oil catch can if the oil bothers you.

good luck!

im not 100% sure on where the boost pill one goes to, i believe its the wastegate. It just feels like a little plastic piece in the hose like a bead. im not by my evo right now but when i get home tomorrow ill double check for you if no one else is able to help
