Since i am storing the vette:

Ctek 3300 battery tender
Sta-dri Moisture Absorption pads - 3 in the car
Moth *****
Over inflate tires to 40psi
Car cover

I had the evo down for two winters though with none of that but the window cracked and it was fine. Just start it every week or so and you should be good to go. Make sure to rev it up when you start it.

i would understand why you would crack the window probably after that amount of
time the inside probably would smell like a stale soggy piece of wood..

i recommend using dryer sheets instead of moth *****. dryer sheets smell better and also keep away pesty rodents. put a couple in the back seat and a couple in the front, also around any low point on the can where a rodent can climb up, i.e. tires, exhaust, front lip.

5 months isn't really storage, about the same time as end of race season to start of next, just keep the battery charged.

Im all about the battery mantanier....i picked one up at local parts store for like 35$ keeps battery topped off and i dontt have to worry about losing the memory to my stereo and other goods...

MY evo will be stored for about 5-6 months due to weather and my car is low as hell..i start it once a week and let it run till opperating temp and if at all possible i will drive it around the block(but thats rare..due to deep *** snow...

If you take your battery out for the winter does it need to stay on the battery tender for the whole time?
