My evo met a guardrail :(
no cf parts are worth buying for an evo, engineers already eliminated that option by using aluminum buddy parts ( fenders, hood, trunk, quarter panels, door skins, roof on MR,) i dont understand why people still tend to get the cf parts??? IMO its a waste of money.
So I was on my way to work today when I crashed my baby. I wasnt going fast but the pain I felt was tremendous. I love my evo and it felt like I destroyed it... has anyone else been through this... How did u feel? Im just happy I have full coverage. But I know it needs a front bumper passenger fender. A new hood (possibly can be fixed) the passenger rim got dismounted I dont know if its bent or not. I need a new headlight and the sideskirt popped off n looks like it rippled but im not sure
for looks duh
All CT9As have aluminum hoods and fenders. 05+ RS, MR, and SE have aluminum roofs. The trunks, door skins, quarter panels, etc are not aluminum. This being said, I agree with the general thrust your comment. I think the OP make a crucial error my not using factory body parts, significantly devaluing his car in the process.

...only aftermarket things i got were a hood and bumper they also bought me 2 new headlights because they couldn't get a hold of the clear housing headlights so they got me black which is fine with me. the hood is amazing and fits perfect i got a seibon. the bumper i am a little dissapointed in but what ya gonna do its not that bad and i like it more then the evo 8
