Help...Installing Oil Pressure/Temp Gauges
So I've decided I finally want to do the radio relocation and have the 3 52MM gauges where the OEM Radio goes. (by using the Gruppe-S 3-Gauge Panel)
When picking out gauges to fill the 3 spots, I chose to add an oil temp and pressure gauge.
Now on to the questions...
The gauges I ordered were Prosport 52MM Electrical Temp/Pressure, with the additional ProSport Oil Adaptor Plate .
I was planning on just hooking everything up to the adaptor plate, but after further reading I read that the oil pressure or temp sensor (can't remember which one) can break and fail prematurely due to the engine vibration at high RPMs. These gauges will just be used for DD and spirited driving, but no track use and really beating the snot out of it. That being said, should I also purchase this AMS Remote Oil Pressure Sending Unit, or will I be fine without it?

Ya I just don't want it to break 2-3 months after installing it and then have to mess with it again.
I'm a college student and can only work on my vehicle when I'm home; so that makes things quite an inconvenience.

I bought that line and it actually worked out great, brings the sending unit up further in the engine bay to make it really easy to run the wires needed to it and more mounting places
