I understand, Im a newb when it comes to cams, with my last platform there were very few cam options, and the few that were out there require solid lifters due to the stock lifter being over extended from the cams having a smaller then stock base circle since they were regrinds

you dont need anything with gsc s2's except the beehive springs......

s2's are easily one of the best cams out there for an evo. bottom line!

That's what I have been reading, and the springs are very cheap, nearly half the price of supertechs for my old plateform

That cam test is out dated.

fp red will be most efficient when cams are in.... get cams and valvesprings to rev higher and to get the most out of a fp red turbo..... oh and injectors......oh and a tune..... oh and meth injection.... oh and a intercooler and piping.... oh and exhaust... oh and intake.... oh so many things the list goes on.....

If this guy is planning on keeping this car for the street, and under 450whp, why does he need the FP red? I would get the FP Green which have been proven to make over 400whp and will have a smaller price tag than said turbo's above and will have less turbo lag....its win/win.

I will have to look into this, I just dont want my force inducer to limit my power potential like my last project, I went with to small of a blower and it hurt me in the end, also what size injectors are needs with cams and a red/green?

so you should consider what type of reliability you are after.low power/great spool or high power with a slight higher spool.more stress on parts with more power.so reliability/drivability is key...
I am on a stock block, stock head, stock cams, and FP HTA Green + 91 oct + meth and water combo and am at 440 whp +....I have a very broad power curve and the car is a blast to drive on the street.

I would recommend the HTA Green to anyone wanting to make 400 - 500 whp with a broad power band.

also, I don't plan on running water and methanol, I have ran it on my previous vehicles and in the past the gains have been great but the hassle of running it day to day is not worth it to me.
