Fp Red Internal Wastegate

I was told that my internal wastegate is to small to hold up 30 psi
( W/meth ) and its causing air to go back in the turbo causing a vibration in the piping.

Also can you tap out the insert that splits in the middle to make the whole bigger ????

Thanks in advance

Fp sells a 25psi wastegate actuator but many people do fine with the 18psi unit. If you run near 25psi or more on a regular basis then just get the 25psi unit. You could also get that hotside ported but no need for an external wastegate. I would cover all your other bases first. It's likely something else maybe going on.

An internal WG that is too small would do the exact opposite of not produce enough boost.
A "stronger waste gate" makes no sense, however a "stronger waste gate actuator"
does.

Sounds like you need a WG actuator with a stiffer spring, assuming everything else is okay.

Deffinitvly sounds like a stronger wastegate will fix your problems!
