Fixed my chipped Volk TE37 SL, paint match for $12 (with Pics)

Recently got a nasty rock chip in my Brand new Volk Te37SL. . contacted Mackin for color code and they said no way buddy.
I own a chain of marine retail store sell paint cans to repair aluminum units and fell on this color code that is pefect match

let me know what you think !

yes the paint match is pretty close, but you're still missing a chunk of the wheel.

i like what you did and the paint matches very well, but you should use some fiberglass epoxy or some jb weld to build up the area that was chipped then sand smooth and re-apply your paint. a few super light coats of clear and sand with 2000 grit paper then follow by some 3m rubbing compound and you probably wouldnt be able to tell there was a chip there at all.

ive done this to fill many scratches and it works very very well.

No one but you will notice unless you point out exactly where it is, for $12 that's a great fix!

looks good nice work and it's to bad you pay that much for the rims and they can't even tell you what the paint code is. At least they can give you a touch up pen for that kind of money. Check with your local parts store where they specialize in mixing paint and they will figure that code out for you garanteed or at least very close to it.
