I look at it like this if someone gets that close to your rim to find such a small defect u must have a really nice car if they have to look that close to find something .. It looks good like said u drive your car

nice. keep adding layers of paint on the chipped part to help make it less noticeable

if they get that close to notice here is simple instructions on what to do.

1. place your right foot on the back of their head

2. as they say "is that a rock chip?" extend your leg as hard and as fast as possible.

3. as their face contacts your wheel or the ground (whichever you prefer) say yes it is.

was that so hard?

great job op but i do agree with everyone else you should use something to build that area up so it is no longer visible at all, but its your call. things like this would drive me crazy knowing its there even if other people dont, and if they do notice it follow my simple instructions.

Someone's been playing too much Gears of War this week!

I agree that you can definitely apply a couple of more coats, it should look like a water spot once you get it filled in a little more.

LOL ! car looks pretty good, so people don't notice it but, it does drive me crazy knowing its there. I'm almost worried to screw it up more if I keep at it ! for now I content with what I did.

This is what my car looks like

Nice job. There is a way to make it look even better without breaking the bank though. Buy some model putty and fine sand paper. Apply a small amount of the putty, smooth it out with the sand paper and repaint.

ive done this to fill many scratches and it works very very well.
+1. although the color matches, it does look like a chunk of it is missing. But other than that, looks good.

Thanks for sharing!
