make sure your air/fuel ratios are in check where they are supposed to be and you should be fine. mine is extremely loud but is still giving me the same ratios as it was a few months ago

x2, when i had walbro's on my lightning they were extremely loud, and they worked perfectly fine and never had an issue with them.

Did you push the car?
From my experience if you have pushed the car hard, the sound will tend to be louder
But to be sure check ur A/F Ratio

They tend to make noise. Esp when the ambient air is warmer from what I've experienced.

BAM! there it is. If your in doubt, replace it. To cheap for a "maybe".

But mine has been in my car for around 50k, and im replaceing it just cause. but sometimes I think mine will make more noise then normal like you said, so then I listen and listen, and what it was is that im so use to it, so when I pay attention it seems louder.

Give it 100K, then it will start to make noise.

Funny thing is I took out my noisy one a while ago. My friend needed one in an emergency to replace his stock one and the damn thing worked fine and had no noise..

I can hear mine if everything else is very quiet, like starting the car in my garage on Sunday morning. Otherwise, can't really notice it, but ultimately I'd love a FP as quiet as stock.
