Debating on buying an Evo..
There is more but you'll have to buy the magazine, also buy "CAR" magazine Evo got to a 2nd place(1st went to vaxuall vx220) beating ferrraris and Porsches(and about 50 other cars)
The article I read about the Sport ABS mentioned that it sensed lateral gs, longitudinal gs, steering angle and wheel spin. I'm guessing that the system is "AYC"-like when the ABS is activated. I haven't tested it yet...
I also came from an S4. I don't miss it.

Then he broke down and bought another Evo 6--TME, but this one was stock and a little beat up. I never had so much fun in a car! I was totally blown away by the car in every respect. That's when I knew I had to get one. Sadly, I had to wait several years before an Evo became available in the US. Now that I have one, I'm in heaven!

When I was still driving BMW's, the first thing I would do before heading out on the track is to disable the stability/traction control and disconnect the ABS relay. All that electronic crap really interferes with track driving because it makes your car unpredictable at the limit. I love how the Evo is a real drivers car that rewards smooth, positive inputs and forces the driver to step up. Not everyone is comfortable with that, so you have to seriously consider whether the car is right for your driving style.

That is great! I just hope that they make at least ACD available in the near future in US...
I had a chance to drive 5 ,6tme, 7 and 8 (8 is under my name too
) All I can say is, if you drive it hard, really hard, then go with the evo! You would love it... it is awd so it takes less skills to drive it hard..
Good luck
