Good HID bulbs?

OK, so it finally happened. One of my lights turned purple.
Anyone know what would be a good bulb to replace it with and where I can get it for a good price? I know I don't want anything more than 5000K since stock is 4300K (and I loved how the stockers looked).

eBay, they have good prices. I have them in my car, they last a good 6months or so, but definitely not as long as a name brand bulb does.

Yeah, search Ebay for some Phillips replacements. I have 5000k on my SVTF. A little too blue really. At night in rain or snow I have to use my 3000k fogs. I like the 4300k on my Mustang much more.

Will these work? I've heard Nokya was a good brand. Got their yellow fog bulbs but don't really use them so I don't know how long these will last. Also, what wattage do you guys recommend?

What's wrong with the factory replacements? Are they unusually expensive?

Are HID bulbs just plug and play for the fog lights? Looking to pick up a set of 3000k bulbs, just not really sure how to replace them.

Well they are the same as the BMW bullbs and they go for $250 at the BMW dealer. Not sure how much mitsu sells them for though. I have some extra ones but I would sell them for $100 shipped which Im sure know one would buy them. They are the factory Osram d2s hid bulbs.

Just go with the oem stuff will last longer, and you might want to change both the drivers and passenger side bulbs. Some times the newer on will be brighter than the older one, then you'll be playing catchup trying to get them the same :P
