Arrow Not reading full boost...New gauge and same thing

The car only shows maybe half of what the boost really is. I've searched and read it is something with the boost solenoid under the battery or somewhere? Tried new gauge for the hell of it and same thing. I'm new to ecm controlled wastegates so can someone help me how all this works like a diagram or description how the boost flows out of the turbo through whatever to the wastegate or any comments or tips.
Thanks

What boost gauge? Is your boost pill in the right spot/line?

Are you sure none of your vacuum lines are kinked or anything like that also?

Honestly it's not my car....yet

Took a car for a test drive and he told me this situation, I was actually so busy lookin at the wideband and meth gauge I forgot to look at the boost gauge. I'm not sure where the boost line is tapped into nor about the pill that's why I'm trying to learn more about how its setup so I can rule stuff out and I'm just curous on how some things work.

Where is this pill and what does it do?

Yea... check that shaft play and general turbo health symptoms. Even if it was a kinked line it would continue to build guage pressure through a 5/6th gear pull to full boost if it were a flow restriction.

Because when it got tuned they hooked their own boost gauge and it was reading 35psi (or w/e they set it to) and I forget what it shows now but it was low like 15 and theres no way it has only that low psi cause it pulled like a ****

This is on a car I'm buying and I was on a test drive. I should have the car on monday. If something did happen and the gauge is really reading the "real psi" then I can't imagine what it would be on a high psi

35psi on a stock turbo is stupid anyway, way out of its efficiency range

It's a fully forged shortblock, Buschur stage 3 head, cams, FP Black, injectors, aquamist, full intake and exhaust, mini battery, most of the parts are BR. Bushwacker trans, Exedy triple disc and much more.

Sure fp black is still a stock turbo frame but are you saying 35psi is still too much for a black?
