My car is a shop WOW

So i do everything on my car myself, I have had my car for two years now and counting. I just put in a short block and has had trouble with little things ever since. Once it warms up "The Motor it run perfect." It has 127 miles on the new shortblock" When 99% it does not start and just cranks

I just gave my car to JNZ Tuning hopefully they take care of my car and do a good job with it and find the problem because i tired just about every logical think on the car.

Car just cranks, it fires but then instantly stall's it's self out.

Change:
Cam angle sensor
Crank angle sensor
Coil Pack
It is getting fuel
It is getting spark
Timing is set correctly
Checked the compression
Looked for loose or faulty wires "Couldnt find any"
Replaced Battery

Am out of idea's so let see what JNZ can do will update as i hear things

IF the car has any Tephra map on it make sure its not on the Valet map, if its on SD make sure the MAP sensor is working.

Can you get it to run by opening the throttle while cranking?
Have you done a boost leak test?

I'm thinking it's an air problem. Isn't there a test in the manual for the MAF sensor?

I don't think it is a boost leak bec it runs fine n spool when it does run..

I unplugged the MAF n it didn't seem like that was the problem. I was out of ideas

im with blk evil. my car did the same thing to and i would have to gas it to keep it running. pulled the iac out and it was completely gone up top. while it was running, it would idle real low and almost die unless us gased it. good luck.

x2

I just found a leaking EGR valve that was causing all kinds of idle/stalling/driveability issues. the car was boosting fine on the road, I was hitting 24psi by 3800 RPM in 3rd gear, but it wouldn't hold any pressure at all when I leak tested it. Once that leak was fixed my car was back to driving like stock.

bottom line is that if you haven't leak tested your car recently chances are you've got a leak.
