Good luck to you! I hope you can break 200mph. You will not make it on stock FMIC.
I would rethink your turbo choice... If you have the money I would do a HTA3794. I would also run a LR2.2 with 159mm rods on 4.11 gears VIII tranny
That would be 220mph at 8500ish. Not sure your budget but I would go big

200 is a really high number for a evo. But possible. You might need around 650+ hp and make sure you tape down your hood or get some hood pins so they dont go flying off on you. You can remove the mirrors to give you a few extra miles. This a fd rx7 setup at a texas mile event and he hit 196
440ci LS7 all motor 600rwhp (N/A)
no rear wing/spoiler, mirrors and wipers removed, stock hood, taped cowl area and heavy front taping of the bumper
3.55 gears 91 octane
approx sea level altitude and high 70 to low 80 degree temps
1.5 mile total runway (meaning 1/2 mile of shutdown which comes up fast), slight wandering of the car to the left about 6ft at 180mph+
Best speed achieved: 196.2mph October 2009
good luck and keep us posted

Well we are using a PTE 6765 on the car. Should be sitting us nicely in the 800ish range at the wheels. The power to hit 200, is not a concern, that will easily be reached. We are worried about aerodynamics and stability.
I will look into NRG tech for the cage, thanks alot for that tip!
This week we should be posting up some specifics as far as the build!
P.S. Not on a stock FMIC haha. The tear down starts monday for this build! There will be MANY pics!

You may want to reconsider your priorities. I would not be surprised if you had to remove the wing to get a few more mph. You're going to be hard pressed to get both speed and stability... on a budget no less. You might as well try to get a Hummer up to 200 mph.
He's right about worrying about aero and stability. I think there has to be more to it than this, though. The builder of the highest WHP Evo in the country and a flagship shop, AMS, ran into problems in the 230MPH runs they made:

Get OCD on the build and good luck!
