Removed rear seat and now SRS light.

I recently heard a rattle coming from the back interior so I removed the back seat bottom and back to investigate. Found the problem (a screw rattling around) and reinstalled the back seats. Now I have an SRS light, I did not unplug anything since there wasnt anything to unplug, kind of stumped. I am currently at work so I cant tinker with it but I wonder if its just coincidence or is there more to it. I understand that I will have to go to the dealer to get the code pulled and cleared but just curious if I did anything. Any one else have this issue?

Look under the front seats for any yellow connectors that might have gotten disconnected. All SRS wiring in the car has yellow connectors and if one gets disconnected, simply connect, then turn the key off and on and the light will disappear, no need to get anything reset by the dealer.

Well I took it to the dealer this morning and found out it's the left front impact sensor. It's going to be $250 to replace it

Id let it go, why bother. My wifes A4 has had an air bag light on since we got the thing. Its an air bag sensor in the seat I guess. Too much money for something that should be replaced for free.

how about you do this first...survey all the sensors. un-plug then re-plug them and then reset your battery. see if that does anything for you before you spend 250
