boost gauge

hey guys, just hooked up my new boost gauge in my 03 evo 8 and the vacuum is reading between 25 and 30 during idle, any suggestions? thanx

I think it should be right for you. I'm from Cali and mine sits around 20-ish on vac.

18-20 is the norm for stock cams. What gauge is it ? I had some cheapo one read super high vac and be off on boost.

Autometer ill sell it for 20+ shipping + paypal... so figure like 25$? not a bad deal at all!

I'm using a VMR 40mm mech boost gauge along with the other 2 stock gauges from the MR package. Looks stock and reads fine. Oh yeah, can't really beat the price of 35 bucks!
