Mitsu warranty is a fragile thing.
Could very well be a dealer-to-dealer thing as to whether they care or not you installed gauges but I don't imagine you would have any failures resulting from the installing them. In the event you did have problems, Mitsu would need to prove your gauges caused or played a role in any failures.
ie. If you install a boost gauge, you need to play with the vacuum lines. If you had an issue with your car leaning out or something because of a vacuum leak and you popped your motor under WOT, they could potentially nail you for that.
ie. If your catalytic converter failed for whatever reason and you had a wideband installed, they could try and peg you for messing with the exhaust system.
From what I've gathered, is pretty stingy about warranty.
Hence why the joke "putting gas in your car" voids the warranty.
Personally I wouldn't worry about it but if it makes you more comfortable you can check with your dealer about how they feel about those kinds of little things.

If your car is still under warranty and it starts to lean out... guess what, it's got a warranty for that.

You're right, I don't have a whole lot of mods...yet. I just got my UICP and Intake. I got the gauges because someone was selling them for a decent price. ETS V2 Extreme cat back is on the way as well.

It was a legitimate inquiry on my part. Thought these forums are for people that want to know answers to questions.

It was an OKish question. The general answer to all warranty questions is actually the same: Mitsu will try to use it against you, even if it's irrelevant; it's up to you to fight or avoid the hassle.
You also got one good reply in that screwing up the installation of a boost-gauge is a legitimate reason for Mitsu to blame you for something. A boost leak caused by an unauthorized mod is a valid reason to deny certain claims. They can't use it to deny fixing your ACD pump (although they would probably try, anyway), but it could affect the engine.
We get a little silly when slightly new versions of very old questions are asked, that's all. Roll with it. See it as having fun. Maybe join in at some point.
