Hi Guys,
Replaced my battery the other day to find that the stock radio does not work anymore.
how can i get it reset ? is there a default code that i can use?
I have tried to leave the stereo on for 30 minutes and it still does not reset?
Surely someone has replaced the battery before and get the stock radio back.

Did you check your manual or documents that came with the car? Sometimes its in there.

 

yeh i went over it. It just says leave ignition in the "ON" position for 30 minutes? unsure if i actually have to do anything??

 

I never had this issue with my stereo

 

by the way it is OZ delivered. So it could be a slightly differenty radio/cd player to what you guys get.. I just have to listen to my engine from now on till i find a fix or replace it

 

The problem is fixed. Mitusbishi charged me $15 to get the code from their VIN database. That is pretty expensive .
