Boost creep question
Boost creep question
Hello fellow evom,
I was wondering if i would get boost creep if i install a o2 housing, dp with deleled cat, and exhaust?
Is there anything I should be aware of first before i put on these mods.
Thanks,
Thomas.

I would suggest if you install those mods you get a tune...you'll spool your turbo more quickly and you are certainly exposing yourself to boost issues
aside from that read the evo modding for dummies thread in the stickies
you have a lot of reading to do

If you get the Megan 02 housing you might get it. I bought one of my friend and it's already ported, he mentioned the weakness of it is boost creep but just increase diameter. Get an Invidia 02 housing and you'll be fine.

Thanks guys. After I get everything put on going to get a tune right whenever I can.
This what I got so far. Rsr dp with deleted cat and rsr gt2 and Megan o2 housing. Might just get a boost controlled to prevent it from boost creep.

A boost controller will not help boost creep. The problem is that sometimes with a o2 housing, the passage is not opened enough and even when the turbo's wastegate is fully open (to lower boost), you still might not be able to run less than a certain boost level (24psi for instance).

Thanks for all the info guys.
