I just realized it had a Works license plate frame. I'm guessing the exhaust is Works.

Thanks a lot for all the feedback so far guys! I checked out the SC and HB mitsu sites saw a few good deals. Keep em coming! Couldn't find any evo 8/9s on carmax... been searching the autotrader site too. Gonna try cars.com next

Found a couple on cars.com - any opinions as far as price/miles go?

I would most likely be putting around 10K down depending on how much the dealer wants...


My ideal combo would be a white 2006 MR but of course with a 20K price range it may be hard to come across that...

2005 EVO VIII - This one comes with a JDM rear, but I read you have to modify some kind of crash brace for the JDM rear to fit on... so if the previous owner didn't do it right I could have some trouble down the road if someone ran into me from behind, correct? Also looks like the tails have been smoked out...

2005 WW EVO - this one has really low miles (about 17K)... I was planning on keeping the car forever... so I mean I'm not too worried about resale value as of now (unless something comes up, of course)

I'd go for the WW Evo 8 RS

see if you can bargain a price as well.

& Take those big ridiculous wheels off and put the 17" Enkeis back on.

yeah those wheels are ridiculous I don't know what that person was thinking... the enkeis and the BBS are very clean rims
