EVO Newbie + what mods are these?

Well here goes my first post... been looking for an EVO/STI for the past few months... so hard to find one that hasn't been ugli-fied by some ricer... been spending a few hours a day looking at/for these and I can definitely say I am obsessed with these cars... it's kind've sad haha. Anyway, I saw this EVO in the wicked white thread and it really stood out, it's got to be the cleanest one I've ever seen.

I believe that is the JDM rear bumper, stock tailights, and I don't think the wing is stock.
Can anyone confirm my beliefs/enlighten me on this?

P.S. Been reading up a lot but was just wondering what a decent mileage range is for a used evo? Looking in the 15-20K range as far as price goes. Searched craigslist up and down but most of the EVOs ive found have been modified to hell.

Thanks in advanced...

JDM rear? Yes. Stock tails? If it's an MR. Stock wing? Yep. Good luck with your search. And if you can find someone who has one close by that will help, nothing hurts experience.

The only "mods" on that car look to be the JDM bumper and Evo 8 wing. Everything else looks to be stock for IX MR

^^JDM rear changes the rear of the car dramatically. A very good visual mod.

Just by going from the pic, I'm thinking the exhaust kinda looks aftermarket also, along with the bumper/wing which looks good. Can't be to picky about mileage if you plan on getting one under 20k though...I know of a black evo 2004 right now for 17k. I didn't get to look inside or under the hood but it was really clean and I could tell it wasn't modded/touched at all. GL with your searches though.

The wing looks like an 8, jdm rear bumper, maybe a buschur exhaust?

Yeah the JDM rear bumper has really caught my eye it would definitely be the first mod I'd get. I wasn't planning on modding the car visually but after seeing that I changed my mind. Not too picky about mileage, just don't want the car to die on me. I won't drive more than 10K miles a year so I was thinking an evo wth 70-80K would be fine as long as it had been kept in good condition... if anyone knows of any good dealerships in california please let me know!

an evo with 70-80k miles will have some strain on it, but that seems about in your 20k price range. your in SD, but southcoast mitsu is the ****...

Search on Carmax. Thats where i found my MR IX stock with 40k miles, paid $26k for it. Its was located in the Bay area and had it transferred for $150 to the closest Carmax to me. Pretty much if you pay the transfer fee, it is reserved for you until you decided to get it or not. Transfer fee in non-refundable if you decided not to get it. Anyways good luck with the search!! Evo FTW!

70-80k miles on an evo that hasn't been abused or modded is hard to find. Hit up Sam at huntington beach mitsubishi. I'm sure he can find a descent one for you.

for your price range your looking in the 60-80k miles range. At that many miles its hard to find an unmodified one. Not impossible, but not easy either. I payed 22k for my 06 IX SE with 60k. Its going to be hard but do alot of searching.
