Electrical help
I've had my Evo since 06 and recently my Passener side headlight and tail light stopped working.
I've tried new bulbs for each and a new ballast for the headlight, nothing helps. The tail light will blow the bulb after a few mins
My brake light and highbeam/fog lights work. The only mod is EVO VII tails. Can anyone give me some insight

If your tail lights are burning out after only a couple minutes then you have a short somewhere in your system. First, ensure that you have the correctly rated fuses in your box, then start the fun task of tracing wires. I would first start by doing a visual inspection of your wires/wiring harness to check for any exposed, pinched, or corroded wires. This is where you will often find the problem.
You can also check your bulbs to ensure that they are in fact the correct bulbs. I don't remember off the top of my head if they are or not, but some cars run the headlights and tail lights on the same fuse or the passenger side lights all on one fuse and the driver side lights on another.
Your issues with your rear light may be affecting your front is what I am saying basically.
You can also check the inside structure of your rear tailight itself. Make sure that there aren't and shorts or loose connections in there.
Electrical problems are hard to diagnose over the internet and often times even in person. You just have to pick a place to start and go from there.

I recently had a flickering problem of a headlight once in a while and I went crazy trying to figure out what it was.. Bought new bulbs, new Ballasts nothing. It just kept getting worse and worse.. Brought it to a specialized electrical shop to do the tracing and what not and it ended up being the main ground right next to the fuze box. It was loose and I dont know why. anyways hope this helps. Good Luck and if you are inpatient like me do yourself a favor and bring it to someone that has the right tools. Good Luck!
